Satyendra Narayan Sinha Institute of Business Management, Ranchi, established in the year 1978, has been recently affiliated to Jharkhand University of Technology, Ranchi and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi for conducting MBA (Master of Business Administration) degree program in Management Studies since 1994.Initially Institute was recognized by Govt. of Bihar/Jharkhand and affiliated to Ranchi University from 1984 to 2019.
The institute is located in the heart of the capital of Jharkhand state Ranchi, surrounded by subsidiaries of Coal India, Asia’s biggest Engineering Industry Heavy Engineering Corporation Ltd, India’s biggest design consultant – MECON and steel industries Bokaro Steel Plant at Bokaro and Tata Steel at Jamshedpur.
The institute had been conducting short term courses in various disciplines like Export-Import Management, Customer Relationship Management, Leadership, Insurance Management and Financial Management for non-finance executive, Information Technology, Project Management, Budget and Budgetary Control, Strategic Management, Market Research, Advertising and Sales, International Marketing and T.Q.M.
Institute is also conducting programmes on capacity Building & Vocational training to tribal population under the scheme of Jharkhand State Tribal Development Society.
Institute has also conducted several Skill Development programme to youth of Jharkhand sponsored by Dept. of Urban Development, Department of Public Health & Department of Social Welfare Govt. of Jharkhand.
